L7 Seattle Concert reviews
Great venue, decent show
From my perspective, the headliner's performance at this venue was great. The surrounding views were beautiful, and we had a very good view from our seats despite everyone standing from the start of the headliner's portion. The first opener provided a very enjoyable experience. On the other hand, the headliner's brother served as the second opener and was not enjoyable at all. His set lasted 40 minutes longer than it should have, with him alternately screaming and speaking the lyrics. If I had not been eagerly waiting for the headliner, I would have walked out. While I love the headliner's songs, it was clear that his manager/record producer puts in a lot of effort to polish his voice for recordings, as it sounded rough live. The amenities at the venue were average. Overall, I would recommend the recordings of L7 and the venue, but not a live show.
